Setting Up Microsoft Outlook 2003

1. Open up Microsoft Outlook, at the top of the window click on Tools and then down to E-mail Accounts

2. On the E-mail Accounts window, select Add a new e-mail account and click Next

3. For your server type, select POP3 and click Next

4. On the Internet E-mail Settings (POP3) window, enter your information as follows:
  • Your Name: Enter your first and last name
  • E-mail Address: Enter your e-mail address (
  • User Name: Enter your e-mail address, again (
  • Password: Enter the password you set up for your e-mail account
  • Incoming mail server (POP3): Enter for your incoming mail server
  • Outgoing mail server (SMTP): Enter for your outgoing mail server
  • When the above information has been entered click on the More Settings button

5. On the Internet E-mail Settings window, select the Outgoing Server tab, then check the box that says My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication, leave the dot next to Use same settings as my incoming mail server and click OK

6. You will now be back to the E-mail Accounts window. Click the Next button

7. Congratulations! Click on the Finish button.

8. You can now click on Send/Receive button to begin receiving e-mail
