Selective Call Rejection

Selective Call Rejection lets you select which calls are blocked during times when you would rather not be disturbed by all calls. When you turn this service on, only those callers on your rejection list are routed to an announcement stating that you do not wish to receive their calls at this time. All other callers ring through as usual. Your rejection list can hold up to 32 phone numbers.


How To Use Selective Call Rejection:

  1. Lift handset and listen for dial tone.
  2. Press *60 on a touchtone telephone*.
  3. Listen for an announcement notifying you if the service is on or off and how many (if any) entries (phone numbers) are currently stored on your rejection list.
  4. Press 3 to turn the service on or off.


*Or dial 1160 on a rotary telephone.


How To Add An Entry To Your Rejection List:

  1. Press # on a touchtone telephone*.
  2. Enter the phone number to be added**.
  3. Press # on a touchtone telephone*.
  4. Listen while the phone number of the added entry is repeated.


*Or dial 12 on a rotary telephone.
**Enter 1+ area code if your entry is long distance.


How To Delete An Entry From Your Rejection List:

  1. Press * on a touchtone telephone*.
  2. Enter the phone number to be removed**.
  3. Press * on a touchtone telephone*.
  4. Listen while the phone number of the deleted entry is repeated.
  5. Press 1 to confirm entry deletion.


*Or dial 11 on a rotary telephone.
**Enter 1+ area code if your entry is long distance.


How To Hear Entries On Your Rejection List:

  1. Press 1.
  2. Listen as your rejection list is reviewed one entry at a time.
  3. Press 07 to delete an entry after hearing it and listen for confirmation of deleted entry.
  4. Press 1 to continue reviewing list.


How To Add The Last Calling Party To Your Rejection List:

  1. Press #01# on a touchtone telephone*.


*Or dial 1201 on a rotary telephone.

  1. Press 0 at any time to repeat voice instructions.
  2. You may dial during the announcements for faster service.
  3. For more options listen to additional voice instructions.
  4. The list you create here is separate from any other lists you may have for Selective Call Acceptance, Selective Call Forwarding, and Selective Distinctive Ringing.
